Rainbow Days is grateful for the hundreds of inkind supporters who make our programs possible. We need inkind donations of all kinds, including: services (such as printing or consulting), supplies (such as crafts and office products), and products (such as items for our fundraising event auctions and prizes for the children). Here are a variety of ways you can get involved:

• Pot of Gold Mystery Auction Items: The "Mystery Centerpiece" Auction is a vital part of our annual luncheon which helps to generate approximately $10,000 toward our total fundraising goal. Please consider how you or your business could help by donating either 1 item or up to 60 items to be placed in our mystery centerpiece auction. In the past, we have had items that include the following: Airline Tickets, Bath Products, Dining & Entertainment Gift Certificates, Golf & Hotel Packages, Home Décor & Jewelry, Spa & Salon Packages, Sports Memorabilia, Stationary & Gift Items and Themed Movie Memorabilia.
  
  

• Camp Broadway Lunch Volunteers: Share your energy with the campers by providing lunch! We anticipate having 60 homeless children and 20 volunteers/instructors at Camp Broadway each day who will need lunch to keep up their strength for this performing arts camp. We need Lunch Volunteers who are interested in providing and/or coordinating lunches for 80-90 children and adults each day of the camp. The camp is July 29th through August 2nd at Hillcrest Church in Dallas.
  
  

• Back to School Backpacks & Supplies: Help a child to succee in school! We need your help to provide approximately 350 homeless children with new backpacks and supplies this coming school year. The cost of the backpack filled with supplies is approximately $50. This is a great project for a family or groups of friends, neighbors, coworkers or Sunday school class members.

• Back to School Celebration : Give a child a fresh start as they head back to school! Again, Rainbow Days is on a mission to supply approximately 300 homeless children with a brand new back-to-school outfit for the new school year. We rely on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to obtain all the clothes for the children using the “apple” concept similar to the “angel tree” around the holidays. The details on picking the “apple” of the child you chose to support are available in July of each year. • Learning Tool Kit Supplies: Each child in our Family Connection program receives an interactive “kit” that reinforces all of the major messages and skills that they learned in a Rainbow Days group upon leaving the shelter. The kit also provides opportunities for intergenerational learning as parent and child work on activities together and is complete with all of the supplies they need. We need donations of children’s scissors, construction paper, crayons, glue sticks, markers, pencils, plastic baggies, plus the financial/inkind resources to get our printed materials professionally printed.
