Kids' University
At Kids’ University the children enjoy an academic camp to promote literacy, higher education, develop social competency and build self-esteem. Children have the opportunity to ‘take’ different courses throughout the week, including science, computers, juggling, painting, cooking, arts and crafts and others on a college campus. The highlight of Kids’ University is the graduation ceremony at the end of the week where each child walks across the stage to receive their diploma donning a mortarboard!
There were two weeks of Kids' University held at the University of Texas at Dallas, June 7-10, 2010 and June 21-24, 2010. |
