In an effort to help build the capacity of organizations and to address prevention workforce development needs in the non-profit sector, Rainbow Days offers a wide variety of workshops and seminars at local, state and national conferences as well as for individual organizations.

 
   

Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist Training (SAPST)

This 40 hour training covers the fundamental knowledge base for substance abuse prevention professionals and includes the following modules

  • Introduction to Prevention
  • Prevention Research
  • Prevention Program Planning
  • Evaluation
  • The Cultural Context and Ethics of Prevention
  • Using Human Development in Prevention
  • The Media and Prevention
  • Bringing It All Together
